I traveled to New York, Berlin, Auschwitz, and Krakow with an amazing group of pastoral leaders in 2010 through the FASPE program. On our pilgrimage, we studied the history of our profession's relationship to the Holocaust and plunged deep into ethical case studies based on our contemporary contexts. This kind of ethical formation is now more necessary than ever for leaders in faith, medicine, journalism, business, and law. FASPE has amazing yearly programs that form ethical leaders for the future.

Your donation through my fundraising page will help the Seminary 2010 cohort's efforts. If 50% of us in Seminary 2010 contribute (and we're close), all our gifts - yours included through me - gift will be matched by our amazing benefactors. If 75% us contribute, all our gifts are matched two to one. If 100%, three to one!

Any gift from you, therefore, will have an even larger impact! Please consider giving on or before Giving Tuesday, Dec. 1 (hence my modest goal - help me surpass it on Dec.1!).

With thanks,

~Chris Hadley, S.J.

Ethical Leadership 2020

We all know that 2020 has been a challenging year! With a global pandemic, growing nationalistic movements, and a long overdue nationwide reckoning with systemic racism, it does not seem hyperbolic to say that ethical concerns have never been more pressing. While this year has meant disappointment on some fronts – it has also presented important opportunities for FASPE to take a more active role in public discourse. We are active, and our commitment to promoting ethical leadership has never been stronger.

This year we are using a new fundraising peer-to-peer platform which will serve as your own fundraiser on FASPE’s behalf. We hope that each of you will partake as fundraisers in order to get the word out and extend our reach. And, a donor has also agreed to a matching program for gifts that you arrange—so another opportunity.
